A day at Pereybere Beach
Due to the popularity of the Pereybere public beach, it is better to arrive early in order to get a good spot to lie down in the shade, under the large filao trees. The water is shallow and more experienced swimmers can adventure out of the supervised area to the deeper sea.
The adventurous ones might want to have a walk on the other side of the beach, pass the rocky area on the left or to find a quieter place close to the Hibiscus Hotel.
The public beach is a popular gathering and swimming spot for both young and old people whereas children find it fun to build sand castles along the shore or look for sea shells.
The following facilities are available at Pereybere Beach within walking distance from the public beach:
- Cafes, bars, restaurants
- Souvenir shops, retail shops
- Car park
- Public toilets
- Hawkers selling local food
- Self-service store for groceries
- Self-contained apartments, bungalows, hotels
